it will reset your bios to fail safe settings (optimal defalt) and resets your date/time
from a laptop, if its turned off, nothing
from a desktop, if u have one of those emergency power things, then it will just turn off, and nothing
if ur talkin about the little clock batteries on the motherboard, then it'll delete the time...
There should be no assumtion here. If it's a laptop and that's the battery removed? No big deal.
If it's the little battery from inside a computer, BIOS RESET.
Well, the power goes out...no really it shuts down the computer improperly and can result in data loss. Its not recommended if the computer is not already shut down.
If you are talking about a desktop motherboard battery, then it will reset the time and reset all the basic BIOS setings to manufacturer's default values.
You have a Battery in your hand, and NONE in your computer... Other than that, nothing to exciting.
You can know everything on interner
